It is a national holiday celebrated especially in the U.S and in Canada as giving thanks to the blessing of the harvest and proceeding year. it was claimed in 1863, during the civil war by president Lincoln, to thanks and praise for our god. we thank him for those protect us, such as the military victory. We celebrate with a table of delicious food. for example Turkey, mash potato, and desert. this food was first served to the Europeans when they arrived

I think that this was one of the best because if I was that little boy I would have been one of the happiest kid. I like this video a lot because it showed a lot of kindness and respect.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Dental laboratory technicians specialize in different areas of dental and orthodontics work. Their jobs usually include making and repairing dentures, crowns, and braces.  They work in dental schools, commercial dental laboratories, hospital, dental clinics, and for manufactures of dental prostheses Dental Laboratory technicians:

·        Repair denture linings

·        Choose and mount replacement teeth

·        Construct denture frames

·        Identify needed prostheses repairs

·        Make and fix braces

·        Cast plaster dental molds

·        Clean and polish prostheses

Veterans Day is celebrated on the 11^th hour of the 11^th day of the 11^th month because a temporary cessation of hostiles was declared between the allied nations and Germany in the First World War.  This holiday first became a legal holiday in 1938.  It is a holiday dedicated to American Veterans of all wars. Even though the war officially ended on June 28, 1919, November 11^th remained the public date of when the “Great War” ended. This day usually consists of parades and public gatherings as well as a pause in all activities at 11 am. On November 11^th of 1921, an unidentified American solider was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC. The U.S. congress declared that day a legal federal holiday and in honor of all those who participated in war.

Reflection: I think that it’s a good thing that we have a holiday for the people who serve our country. Not only do they risk their lives for us but they also have to leave their families behind, knowing that there is a possibility that they will never see them again. I think it’s a good way to honor them and or remember them with parades and ceremonies at their tombs. We should have a respect for them and always appreciate that they protect us and fight for our freedom.
