SERVICES FOR LAUSD
- Counseling and Guidance – For
students whose behavioral and emotional needs affect their ability to
benefit from their special education program and are manifested primarily
at school.

MH Consultation is an indirect method of
intervention that assists others to become more effective in dealing with
psycho-emotional, behavioral, or emotional concerns of particular students.
·
Each year, social work graduate students
and Child Psychiatry Fellows from various Southern California universities
participate in the largest comprehensive school-based clinical social work and
child psychiatry internship in the state.
